Cette pièce est marquée F.Souchal Paris. Etant donne la période et le fait que ce groupe était français, 
en plus du sujet lui-même, il semblerait qu'il s'agit bien de la représentation d'un sloughi.

F. Souchal was a group of sculptors producing work in France in the 19th century, mostly near Paris. 
This piece is marked F. Souchal Paris.  Because of the time period and the fact that the group was French, 
in addition to the subject itself obviously, it would seem that this is indeed a rendering of a Sloughi.
