K'LAR AWARD 1998

Scottish Deerhound
DC Windshift Brier Rose FC SORC SGRC2 VC
bitch, owned by Terri Campbell

Brier finished her AKC conformation championship, her AKC field championship
(with back-to-back five point majors), became an Oval Racing Champion and
Large Gazehound Racing Champion in 1997 at the age of two years.

In 1998 she earned her ASFA Field Championship as well as both the "S"
titles available to racers, the Superior Gazehound Racing Championship and
the Supreme Oval Racing Championship.  She was the first hound of any breed
to earn both titles.

In 1998, she was named K'Lar Dog of the Year in LGRA and received the
Fairchild Perpetual Trophy for excellence in racing.  Not only was she #1
dog in her breed in both LGRA and NOTRA in 1998, she also earned more
National points in both organizations than any hound of any breed running.

Brier finished the racing season in 1999 as NOTRA National Champion (SD) for
the fourth consecutive year, earning the Fairchild Perpetual Trophy for a
second year. She earned her SGRC2 in 2001.
