Dighty started racing in 1996 where she finished as # 2 Greyhound in NOTRA oval racing.
1997  saw her finishing her ORC
and becoming the first Sighthound in LGRA
to finish the Superior Gazehound Racing Champion title.

She ended the year 1997 as # 1 all breeds in LGRA sprint racing, the first K'Lar award winner,
and as # 2 Greyhound in NOTRA oval racing.
