Fahel first drew attention to himself at the age of 5 1/2 months when he won a large entry
in the Hound Group Puppy at a IABCA show under two Canadian judges
who praised his muscle tone and fitness.
He finished his International Champion title later with IABCA also.

He is one of the few Sloughis who took to chasing the lure the first time he saw it.
He is Foundation Coursing Champion in ASFA and SFAA LCM.
He was # 1 Large Rare Breeds (miscellaneous over 18") in ASFA in 1998
and ASFA Coursing Hound of the year in 1999.

He started competing in LGRA in Spring of 1998,
was defeated a few  times by his sire Aswad Shi'Rayân and aunt A'Ssissa Shi'Rayân,
but in September of 1998 took over the lead and was undefeated until Fall of 2002.
He was NOTRA National Champion in 2000.

He is the third SGRC and the third SORC for the breed Sloughi.
He is the first SGRC 2 for the breed Sloughi, the 2nd Sighthound SGRC 3
and the first Sighthound SGRC4 in LGRA.
The 4 SGRC titles were finished in 2001 and 2002.
He has been awarded the Nubia Memorial Cup
 for the  # 1 Sloughi in performance events 5 times - in 1998, 1999, 2001, 2002 and 2003

Fahel was # 1 All breeds in LGRA and K'Lar Award winner in 2001 and 2002,
and became the first SGRC 5 in the history of LGRA in December 2003
and the first SGRC 6 in December 2004, a few days before his 8th birthday.
He is the # 1 all times Sighthound in LGRA in 2002, 2003, 2004, 2005.
