K'Lar FC Silkenswift Intent K'lar FCh SORC2 GRC

K'Lar was a remarkable athletic Borzoi.
She was owned by Sue and Sam Banks in Mattaponi, Virginia,
at the time when the NOTRA was opening its program to breeds other than Whippets.

She was from one of the first Borzoi litters to be trained to race prior to training for lure coursing.
She became the first Sighthound to finish the GRC title within LGRA in 1996.
She was the first NOTRA Supreme Oval Racing Chmapion Borzoi after that title was created.
She is still in 2003 the # 1 all time in NOTRA, being only one of 2 Sighthounds in the Western Hemisphere
to have finished the SORC2.
She also achieved the ASFA and AKC Field Champion titles.

She died prematurely and unexpectedly on the way home after a race meet.
