RACING
In the USA, there are two non-commercial
racing associations for all Sighthound breeds. Whippets have several
more possibilities of testing their racing skills.
The National Oval Track Racing Association
NOTRA
offers oval racing and the Large Gazehound Racing Association LGRA
offers straight (sprint) racing.
Thanks to the commitment of members
of the Sloughi Fanciers Association of America, the Sloughi is an official
breed of NOTRA since December 1994, and of LGRA since its creation in 1995.
